Have you thought to remember LWML in your estate plan? Our legal name is: Lutheran Women's Missionary League

Dear Friends,

Next to writing a check, perhaps the best known vehicle for charitable giving to organizations like Lutheran Women's Missionary League is the bequest.  A bequest establishes your wishes today without relinquishing needed assets during your lifetime.  Bequests can transfer a specific asset.  You can also give a percent of the estate after costs and taxes.  Another gifting option is to transfer property to a testamentary trust.  For more information, call 1 (888) 482-8425 or e-mail me at bilowp@oh.lcms.org

Weekly Thought

As often as we clean our eyeglasses to see the world, we should also wipe the lenses of our hearts to see God more clearly.  Jesus reminds us, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God," Matthew 5:8 (NKJV).  Our eyes were made to see God, and our hearts were made to long for Him.
